Pin It Now!
If you are one of my faithful blog followers you know the love/LOVE relationship I have with SunflowerRadiantLove's dolls.Well, Saskia, the maker of my favorite dolls is not the only talented one in her family!
This is a family of soon to be 7 kidlets and mama and papa. Truly amazing people, and I count my self lucky to call them friends.
So... one of Saskia's sons, Draven has decided to try his hand at wood working. He is truly talented. He puts time and effort into his creations and you can tell in the workmanship of them. I NEEDED these for my kiddos... and so I bought some. Did I mention he is only 14 years old! Way to go Draven!!
Draven wants to spread the word about his new craft and so he included one for me to review. The mountains he included are now one of my favorite sets. They are so majestic looking... like the mountains I grew up with.
I LoVe all of them though... see how cute they are?
The Hedgehog set is one of my FAVES! And I love the mushrooms!
And how awesome is that Rainbow?
Here are the Waves and a Mountain!
And a close up of the Sun! Love it!

REview/Giveaway of The Original Butterbell Crock by L. Tremain

Pin It Now!
I am sure some of you have seen this odd looking contraption that your Grandparents used to keep their butter in. It sat out on the couter, and you wondered what it was. Well, I found out what it was, and I managed to get my hands on one to test out.
My hubby was born and raised on a dairy farm, and he LOVES butter. He would rather eat dry toast than use margarine. NOT kidding! He has totally loved the butter crock that we have.
Butter Bell makes a variety of Butter crocks, but the one I got was this one:
Cute huh? I don't even mind it sitting on my counter. :)
So are you interested in this? I was... how do they work. When you use a butter crock you don't have to put the butter in the fridge, this way you have nice spreadable butter when ever you reach for it.
On their site they have a great diagram of how it works.

First you fill the crock base with cold water. (1/3 cup)
Then you fill the lid of the crock with your softened butter.
Then you just put the lid on the crock.
Easy... so now how does it keep your butter fresh?

Pretty ingenious huh?
They use the water to make an air tight seal that keeps the butter fresh.
This really does work well.

My hubby has really enjoyed having butter on hand for his toast and such. It has been nice that I don't have to hear... "That is NOT butter." ... all the time.
the one thing is to make sure you change the water out to keep it fresh and make sure they water level stays high enough.
It you enjoy spreadable butter but don't want to have to spend a lot of extra money at the store for it this is the way to go.
In fact fright now they are having a special:

Buy any 2 get one FREE! That is GREAT!

If you want to try one out this sale is a great one to try for! Plus you will get an extra for a gift. YAY for free!

They are also offering one up to one of my readers. So here is how you can enter to win one.
